My wife and I made the impossible decision to euthanize our beloved 14-year-old dog Morgan a couple days ago. She’s been declining for months but got much worse last week.1
As a result, I spent most of my time since last Thursday doing things unrelated to the newsletter.
There’s a lot to do to get things back on track, both in everyday life and with the newsletter. Please be patient while I do. I thank you in advance.
I hope to have last week’s Five Studies+ published later today.
I’ll write more on the last week somewhere else. I process difficult things through writing, and the last week was exceptionally difficult for us. My wife and I, our sons (ages 10 and 13), and my mom were all present for the euthanasia. We’re very much of the pets-are-family-members tradition. But this isn’t a newsletter about pets, so I’ll leave things with this: she was such a good girl and our hearts are broken.
I’m so sorry for your loss. There’s nothing quite like the love we feel for our animal companions ❤️
My sympathies --- I, too, belong to the pets are family tradition. I am so very sorry.
