Hello! I'm Aaron Jacklin, and this is Explaining Crime, an independent newsletter that helps you read, think, and write about crime. Critically, accurately, responsibly, and ethically.

Use this tip sheet to find new research local to you. It's an experimental directory of new crime research published by the academic journals that I monitor. Today's paid directory contains 10 studies published online in the last few days.1 I publish directories like this one on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All of the studies in these directories are made available in a free directory the following Monday.

If your deadlines mean you can't wait until next week for this week's sorted research, consider becoming a paid subscriber to get three updates per week of the latest research.

Explaining Crime is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
