[Test Format] Crime Research Update (September 5)
A directory of recent research, organized by crime type
[Note: I’m upgrading the newsletter this week, as I mentioned in a programming note earlier this week. Welcome to the first, test directory of the upgrade. It’s sorted (somewhat) by broad crime types, then with listings for each new article that include more information about the article, including (at the moment) journal published in, keywords mentioned, and author information. (The sorting is rudimentary at the moment.)
Like the format I’m testing? Hate it? Have suggestions? Let me know in the comments!
Best,
AJ]
Hello! I'm Aaron Jacklin, and this is Explaining Crime, an independent newsletter that helps you think and write about crime responsibly. Sign up here:
Use this tip sheet to find new research relevant to you. It's an experimental directory of new crime research published by the academic journals that I monitor. Today's paid free directory contains studies published online this week. (This one’s free because it’s the first test of this directory structure. Future versions, with more kinks worked out, won’t be free.)
If your deadlines mean you can't wait until next week for this week's sorted research, consider becoming a paid subscriber to get three updates per week of the latest research.
If this weren't a free post, the paywall would go here and only paid subscribers would get to read further...
